Balasore, Jun 7: A birthday celebration at the official residence of the Balasore District Collector has led to the suspension of five police constables. Reports suggest that the gathering, held late Wednesday night, involved alcohol consumption within the government premises.

Taking immediate action, Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj Prasad ordered the suspension of the involved personnel for violation of professional conduct. Among those suspended is Havildar Hemanta Barik, along with four other constables.
