Following this, the administration has initiated strict surveillance and protocols, including a 10-kilometer buffer zone around the affected areas. Measures will include controlling the movement of poultry, culling infected birds, and constant monitoring of livestock health.
As a measure to contain the spread, around 6,500 chickens will be culled.
Animal Husbandry officials are working round-the-clock to prevent further transmission, with field teams already deployed to execute biosecurity protocols.
The situation is being closely watched, and public awareness campaigns are underway to inform and protect nearby residents, said a senior official.
