Kendrapara, Apr 29: In a tragic incident, a biker died as a Hyva truck dashed into his bike near Kasanaanta under Pattamundai police station of Kendrapara district on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Bunty Mallick, son of Abhiram Mallick of Gopalpur village.

According to the information, a Hyva truck (OD04T1456), which was travelling from Ali, lost its balance due to tyre burst and hit the motorcycle(OD29M6548) near Kasanaanta. 

Locals rushed to the spot rescued the accident victim and took him to Pattamundai Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
