Bhubaneswar: Unidentified Human Skeleton Found Afloat In Daya River

Bhubaneswar, Mar 14: A human skeleton was rescued from Daya river in Khatuapada village under Dhauli police station limits here this morning.
According to the information, the skeleton was seen lying on the shore of the Daya river.
It is suspected that someone might have tied the deceased, murdered and thrown in the river.

Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. A case of unnatural death has been registered by the Dhauli police.
The skeleton's lower part was seen wrapped in a plastic sack. It is assumed that it is that of a young child.
However, the identity of the skeleton was unknown by the time of the filing of this report.
