Under the new system, vehicles are required to follow designated lanes to maintain smoother flow.
Temporary lane markers and barriers have been placed to guide motorists during the testing phase, with plans to introduce permanent markings and speed regulations in the coming weeks. DCP (Traffic) Tapan Mohanty stated that the initiative is aimed at reducing chaos, improving road discipline, and minimizing accidents.
