Bhubaneswar, Sep 12: A woman traffic constable posted in the capital city has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, prompting a city-wide search operation.
The missing officer has been identified as Subhamitra Sahoo, who was last seen on September 6 after completing her duty, which ended at about 7 pm, in the Surya Nagar area under Capital Police limits.
According to reports, Subhamitra did not return home after her shift, raising alarm among her family members. A formal complaint was lodged at Capital Police Station, and her family also met with the Twin City Commissioner of Police, urging swift action to trace her whereabouts.
In response, the Commissionerate Police has launched a full-scale investigation. CCTV footage from the area is being reviewed.

To aid the search, the police have released her photograph and shared posters across social media platforms, appealing to the public for information. A cash reward of ₹25,000 has been announced for anyone who can provide credible leads regarding her location.
