Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi Inaugurates Hanspal Flyover

Bhubaneswar, Jan 21: The long-awaited flyover in Hansapal has been inaugurated Tuesday by Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha member Aparajita Sarangi.
The flyover has been built at a cost of Rs 24 crores. The project was delayed due to land acquisition issues during the previous government. The construction of the flyover started in 2020 but due to the said issue, the completion of the construction was getting delayed.
As per the report, the BJP MP had made continuous effort to accomplish what the BJD government couldn't, and her discussions with Nitin Gadkari, Union Road Transport & Highways Minister, hemped the construction works of the flyover complete.
The one side of the flyover -- Cuttack to Bhubaneswar route -- was inaugurated in August 2024. The opposite side of the flyover has been inaugurated Tuesday.
Besides Sarangi, Bhubaneswar North BJP leader Priyadarshi Mishra along with officials of the National Highways Authority were present at the inauguration ceremony.
