Bhubaneswar Gears Up for Presidential Droupadi Murmu’s Visit On July 14

Bhubaneswar, Jul 12: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to visit Bhubaneswar on July 14 to attend the 5th Convocation Ceremony of AIIMS Bhubaneswar. In anticipation of her visit, the city police have made elaborate security arrangements to ensure smooth proceedings and public safety.
According to DCP Jagmohan Meena, a total of 50 platoons of police force will be deployed across key locations including AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Raj Bhavan, and various traffic posts and checkpoints throughout the city.
The security detail includes: 8 DCP-rank officers, 11 Additional DCPs, 31 ACPs, 44 Inspectors, 180 Sub-Inspectors and ASIs.
Senior police officials have already conducted a security review at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, and traffic arrangements have been finalized by the Traffic DCP, including parking zones, traffic control points, and barricades.

The President’s convoy will follow a designated route, and a carcade rehearsal is scheduled for Sunday to ensure flawless coordination. Police personnel will be stationed at strategic locations to manage traffic flow and prevent congestion during the visit.
The city administration has urged citizens to cooperate with traffic diversions and follow instructions issued by law enforcement during the President’s visit.
This marks another high-profile visit by President Murmu to her home state, and the administration is leaving no stone unturned to ensure her safety and the success of the convocation event.
