Bhubaneswar, Apr 13: Bhubaneswar is celebrating its foundation day today, i.e April 13, in a grand way. Bhubaneswar, as the capital city of Odisha, turned 77 today.

The foundation day will be celebrated for two days. While most government buildings have been decorated with colourful lights, cultural programmes will enthral people till late Monday evening.

Besides, people will be able to enjoy various photo exhibitions in Bhubaneswar. A special programme was held in Bhubaneswar on the occasion.

Assembly Speaker Surama Padhee, BMC Mayor Sulochana Das, city MLAs Anant Narayan Jena and Sushant Kumar Rout, Khordha district Collector, Police Commissioner, BMC Commissioner, Congress leader Suresh Kumar Routray, and Councillors and denizens attended the meeting.
