Bhubaneswar, Aug 5: To uphold the ‘Odia Asmita’, the Mohan Majhi government has started working on the promotion of the Odia language. Henceforth, all official work from the panchayat to the State Secretariat will be done in Odia.
The Odia Bhasha Pratisthan has started training officials to write files, official letters, and all other communications in Odia.
Odia language will be officially used in police stations, hospitals, gram panchayat offices, and the Secretariat. Simple words will be used in official work so that common people can understand government files, orders, and letters.
The Mohan Majhi government has decided to make the use of the Odia language mandatory.

✨“Efforts are on to ensure the use of Odia language flawlessly in the official works,” said an official.
The orientation programme is underway in Sanskruti Bhawan. All officials, from ASO To the Secretary level, will be trained. The programme will go on for five days.
