Bhadrak, Nov 13: A former Sarpanch found dead Wednesday morning as police are suspecting it as a murder. His body was found lying at a drain near his house in Bandhagaon under Bhadrak Rural Police Station limits.
The deceased has been identifed as Chittaranjan Rout. Rout was a formed BJD Sarpanch as well as a president of Samabaya Seva Samiti, Ambaroli in Bhadrak district.
As per the report, Rout had went to 'Asta Prahari' Tuesday night, but he didn't return home. Locals found his body from a drain under mysterious circumstances.
