Bhadrak, Dec 22: In a shocking incident, unknown miscreants broke into the house of retired Jajpur CDMO Raghunath Padhi and stabbed him multiple times at his residence under Bhadrak Town police limits early on Friday.
Padhi has been admitted to the Bhadrak District Headquarters Hospital (DHH) in critical condition.
According to reports, the attack took place around 4.30 am when Padhi was going to terrace for exercise. Suddenly someone attacked him and stabbed him in the abdomen, thigh, chest, and hand.The stabbing is being suspected to the result of a failed loot bid.

✨Earlier also, there were similar loot attempts and gold jewellery worth lakhs of rupees was looted from his house this year, said reliable sources.
Police have started investigation and efforts are on to identify and nab the attackers.
