Bhadrak: 500 Litres Of Country Made Liquor Seized; 1 Held

The main accused Chandrakant Barik of Kuansa village under Bhadrak police station has been arrested. The vehicle was carrying 500 litres of illegal countrymade liquor. 

Bhadrak, Nov 8: A mobile squad of Agarpada excise department under Agarpada police station seized country-liqour and held a person during its regular patrolling at Agarpada square in Bhadrak district today. The seized Suzuki Eeco with registration number OD-22V-4835 was en route to Agarpada Bazar from Keonjhar district. 

The main accused Chandrakant Barik of Kuansa village under Bhadrak police station has been arrested. The vehicle was carrying 500 litres of illegal countrymade liquor. 

The estimated market value of the seized liquor and the vehicle amounted to Rs five lakhs stated the excise department.
