Berhampur, Aug 20: A youth, who stabbed his sister to death on the Raksha Bandhan day yesterday at Lane 7 of Jagannath Vihar under Berhampur Bada Bazaar police limits, succumbed to his accidental injuries today. 

The deceased youth, Ashutosh Panigrahi, was undergoing treatment for accidental injuries in the MKCG Medical College and Hospital. He was severely injured after falling off a bus at Pichilima Chowk while trying to board the running passenger vehicle.

He had reportedly killed his sister, Prajakta (13) on Raksha Bhandhan day-- Monday.

Police confirmed his death Tuesday morning.
