Basic Science College Holds Science Exhibition To Mark Diamond Jubilee

Bhubaneswar, Mar 24: The College of Basic Science and Humanities, Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), today organized a science exhibition to mark its diamond jubilee celebrations this year.
Established in 1964, the College of Basic Science and Humanities completed 60 years of its successful academic journey and, is, thus, celebrating its diamond jubilee this year i.e. 2024.
Attending the programme, organized by the college's Science Committee, institution Director Dr. Nandita Swain opined that the Science Exhibition enhances students' interest in science and manifests their internal qualities. She also viewed that students' thinking inspires many to resolve problems that are happening in society.
More than 80 students from 35 schools and colleges presented over 40 science projects at the exhibition held on the college campus.

✨Attending as judges, Dr. Pramod Kumar Panda, Principal Scientist, Indian Institute of Water Resources, Bhubaneswar, Dr. Prabhas Behera, Principal Scientist, Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar and Dr. Basudeb Kar, Associate Professor, Siksha O Anusandhan (SOA) University, Bhubaneswar distributed prizes to students adjudged as winners.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Science Committee Vice-President Dr Rosalini Patnaik. She thanked the judges and attributed the success to Vice-Chancellor Prof Pravat Kumar Raul's invaluable guidance and inspiration and participation of students.
Committee Chairman Durga Prasad, Vice-Chairman Suhani Rout and In-Charge Amarendra Mohapatra played a vital role in making the Science Exhibition a grand success.
