Bargarh, Dec 28: After strike in Bijepur, the Lawyers' Association of Barpali have staged a 12-hour strike here today prior to the formation of the proposed Padmapur district.
The protest came after Chief Minister Naveen Pattnaik made the announcement for Padmapur district which will be officiated after two days. The advocates demand that the towns of Bijepur and Barpali should not be integrated to form the new Padmapur district.
