Jajpur, Sep 2: In a shocking incident, Barchana Police in Jajpur district of Odisha have seized a container truck transporting cattle under suspicious circumstances.
The truck, intercepted near Kundal Chhak, was reportedly en route to Kolkata from Charinagal under Balichandrapur police limits.
Upon inspection, police discovered that the container was carrying over 60 cows, many of which were found in extremely poor condition. Disturbingly, more than 30 cows were already dead at the time of seizure, raising serious concerns about animal cruelty and illegal cattle transport.
