"Two men involved in this sorcery are Santosh Behera and Galua. They used to practise black magic on four minors in the area. Two of them had cut marks on their hands and the other two were getting weak and screaming at times. Nothing came out in their medical report, as it is a case of black magic. When we apprehended the two youths, they took us to the Kushabhadra River, where bones and nails were found near a mango tree. It is a clear incident of black magic," Behera said.

The allegations made by the villagers have not been independently established. Further details regarding the children's symptoms, medical findings and the circumstances surrounding the alleged objects found near the Kushabhadra River were not immediately available.
