Balasore, Apr 6: In a shameful act, a 27-year-old man was arrested for attempting to sexually assault a 72-year-old woman in Kulhapal village under Nilagiri police station limits in Balasore district on Saturday. 

The man has been identified as Rabi Dalei.

According to the information, while the old woman was asleep at her residence, Rabi entered her house tip-toed and finding no one else at home he attempted to assault her. 

The villagers heard loud cries of the woman and rescued the woman. 

Thereafter, police reached and arrested the man.
