Balasore, July 17: A woman sustained severe burn injuries in a mysterious fire incident near ADM Square under Sahadevkhunta Police Station limits in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday.
According to sources, locals saw the woman engulfed in flames and rushed her to the hospital.
The victim was initially rushed to the District Headquarters Hospital, Balasore in serious condition. Medical officials confirmed that she has suffered extensive burns and may require advanced treatment.
Later, the woman was shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as her condition deteriorated.
