Balasore: Lakhs Of Rupees Looted From Odisha Gramya Bank In Khaparapada

Balasore, Nov 11: Some miscreants looted lakhs of Rupees from the Odisha Gramya Bank, Khaparapada branch under Paliapal Police Station limits in Balasore district.
The crime was committed late Sunday night. Some miscreants broke through the window on the first floor. As per reports, the miscreants cut the iron grill with a glass cutter and entered the building.
The locals saw the broken window Monday morning and informed the bank manager and the Baliapal police. Police are investigating the case.

✨It was not the first time when this bank was looted. Around five years ago, some miscreants broke through the skylight on the backside of the bank building. At that time, the miscreants had looted computers and various furnitures.
The locals have now demanded that the police should make the patrolling more strict considering there have multiple cases of loots and theft in the area.
