Bhubaneswar, July 25: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Thursday conducted simultaneous searches associated with Sunil Kumar Rout, Chief Construction Engineer, Lower Suktel, Balangir, on charges of amassing property disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Today , on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Sunil Kumar Rout, Chief Construction Engineer, Lower Suktel, #Bolangir, simultaneous searches are being conducted by #Odisha #Vigilance at 9 places in Bhubaneswar, Puri, Angul, Cuttack and Bolangir.

The officials of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous searches at nine places including his property in Bhubaneswar, Puri Cuttack, Angul and Balangir on the strength of search warrants issued by Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
As many as 2 Addl. SP, 8 DSPs, 6 Inspectors, 10 ASIs and several other staff of the Vigilance department are carrying out the raids at the following five places associated with the accused official.
1. Residential triple storeyed building of Sunil Kumar Rout at Niladri Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
2. His double storeyed building  at Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.
3. One Flat of Rout at VIP Road,Puri.
4. His another Flat at Grand Road, Puri.
5. His paternal house at Gurudijhatia, Cuttack.
6. House of his son at Kishorenagar, Angul.
7. His House of his relative at Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar.
8. Official residence of Rout at Balangir.
9. Office chamber of  Rout  at Balangir.

Searches were in progress when the report was filed.
