Medical experts at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, led by Executive Director Dr. Ashutosh Biswas, have formed a 14-member specialist team to supervise the victim's recovery. She remains on oxygen support due to unstable vitals, including low blood pressure, which doctors are attempting to stabilize. The next 48 hours have been described as extremely critical for her prognosis.

If the hospital director provides clearance and conditions allow, the government will initiate the airlift to Delhi AIIMS, where advanced burn care facilities are available. This move is expected to offer improved chances of survival and long-term recovery.

On Saturday, the statement of the 15-year-old victim was officially recorded under Section 180 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The process was conducted in the presence of Khordha Additional District Magistrate, Balanga police officials, and attending doctors.
