Bhubaneswar, Mar 28: Leaders cutting across party lines in large numbers paid tributes to former Union Minister Dr Debendra Pradhan on Dwadasaha (12th day of passing away) on Friday.

Former Union Minister Uma Bharati, MP Anurag Thakur, Tejaswi Surya, and ministers of many states reached Dr Pradhan's residence in Bhubaneswar and paid tributes.

Yoga Guru Baba Ram Dev also paid tribute and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved family members. Gopujan (Cow-worshipping) was conducted on the occasion.

BJP leader Kalandi Samal conducted Gopujan at Shee Gopal Go-Shala at Rantalei under the Talcher area. A Homa Yajna was also conducted. A commemorative meeting was also held at the Maa Daria Ramchandi Peetha at Mahakalapada in the Kendrapada district. A large number of BJP workers did Tila Tarpan at the Gobari River bank. After that, they went to the Ramchandi Temple and lighted Diyas (Earthen lamps).
