Berhampur, May 31: The Odisha Vigilance department on Saturday launched simultaneous raids at four locations linked to N Dillip Kumar Choudhury, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) of R&B Division-1, Berhampur.
The operation was launched based on allegations that Choudhury has acquired disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.
The searches are currently underway at his apartment in Dharmnagar, a residence in Mayuri Vihar, his official premises in Berhampur, and a flat in Saheed Nagar, Bhubaneswar.
A team of three DSPs and seven inspectors has been deployed for the operation. Vigilance officials are examining documents, financial records, and other assets as part of the investigation.
Authorities expect to uncover more details regarding potential illicit wealth accumulation, and further action will depend on the findings.
