Malkangiri, June 18: Tensions escalated at the Malkangiri District Headquarters Hospital following the tragic death of a minor girl three days ago. Family members of the deceased alleged medical negligence and reportedly assaulted and misbehaved with a doctor named Dr. Sapan Dinda.

While the deceased’s family had earlier filed a written complaint at the local police station, the hospital’s doctors and staff responded today by submitting their own written complaint at the Malkangiri police station, citing the attack and verbal abuse faced by their colleague.

The incident has sparked concern among the medical fraternity, prompting calls for greater protection and safety for healthcare professionals.
