Bhubaneswar, May 31: Odisha Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Suryabanshi Suraj emphasized the crucial role of youth in shaping the future of Odisha and India.

He stated, at the Argus Yuva Prativa Sammana 2025 conclave, that a developed Odisha is only possible when the youth take responsibility, work together, and drive progress.

Suraj highlighted that by 2027, Odisha will play a leading role in India’s development journey, contributing significantly to the nation’s economic and social growth. He urged young individuals to embrace entrepreneurship, stating that creating jobs is as important as securing them.

The Sports and Youth Affairs Minister also celebrated the remarkable achievements of five Odia individuals who have been featured in Forbes’ prestigious list, calling it a moment of pride for the state. He encouraged Odisha’s youth to recognize their inner potential, take bold steps, and contribute to innovation and leadership.

Suraj reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting youth empowerment, ensuring that Odisha’s young generation has the resources and opportunities to excel in various fields. He emphasized that collaboration and determination will be key to Odisha’s rise as a leader in India’s development.
