The ranking reflects strong audience engagement and consistent viewership for the channel’s news content.
As per the BARC data, Argus News recorded an average time spent (ATS) of 31 minutes and 03 seconds, the highest among all Odia news channels in the urban segment. The channel placed ahead of its nearest competitor, which registered an ATS of 28 minutes and 31 seconds, while other channels reported comparatively lower viewing durations. The figures underline Argus News’ leadership in retaining viewer attention.
The data pertains to Week 02 of 2026, covering the period
from January 10 to January 16, 2026. The measurement was conducted for Odisha's
urban market, with a target group of 15 years and above, and viewership was
assessed during the 6am to 6pm time band.
