Cuttack, Nov 16: Ollywood actor Sabyasachi Mohapatra and actress Anu Choudhury on Saturday inaugurated a stall of Argus News, a leading TV channel in Odisha, at the historic Bali Yatra in Cuttack. At the stall no: 85 in the trade fair, Argus News will offer a plethora of cultural activities with addition of several new events and entities.

The seven-day maritime trade fair, Bali Yatra, began on Friday at Gadagadia Ghat along the Mahanadi River, marking the auspicious occasion of Kartika Purnima. The iconic fair, is scheduled to continue until November 22

This year's fair features 2,500 stalls including numerous food stalls, amusement rides and cultural programs, making it a comprehensive celebration of Odisha's maritime heritage and contemporary culture.

Bali Jatra (Voyage to Bali) celebrates the rich maritime history of Odisha and commemorates India’s historical and civilisational links with Southeast Asia and wider Indo-Pacific that have evolved through the maritime journeys undertaken by the Indian seafarers over thousands of years.
