Keonjhar, Apr 30: In a major jolt to BJD, Anandpur MLA Bhagirathi Sethy today resigned from the primary membership of the party. 

He sent his resignation letter to BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. He, however, cited no reason behind quitting the party. 

"I do hereby resign from the primary members of the Biju Janata Dal," read the letter of Bhairathy Sethy, sitting MLA of Anandpur, Keonjhar district.
