Bhubaneswar, Dec 21: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Sambalpur in Odisha on December 28 and inaugurate super-specialty building at VSS Institute of Medical Science and Research (VIMSAR), Burla, informed Sambalpur MLA Jayanarayan Mishra on Saturday.

Speaking to media persons, Mishra said Shah will arrive in Sambalpur on December 28 for a day-long visit to the State. The Union Minister will first visit Maa Samaleswari temple and offer prayers to Goddess Samlei.

Then, the Union Home Minister will inaugurate the five-storeyed super-specialty building at VIMSAR in Burla. He will also inaugurate various development projects in the Western Odisha city, the BJP leader.  

Later, Shah will attend a programme at the Gangadhar Meher University in Sambalpur.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and some Ministers of the State government are likely to accompany the Union Home Minister during his day-long visit to Sambalpur, the BJP leader said.
