Bhubaneswar, Dec 26: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Odisha on December 28 for a two-day visit to the State, informed BJP’s state in-charge Vijaypal Singh Tomar on Thursday.

Speaking to the media persons, Tomar said Shah is scheduled to arrive in Bhubaneswar on Saturday evening (December 28) on a two-day visit to the State.

Shah will attend a meeting to be held at party headquarters in New Delhi through video conference from the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on December 29 morning where he is likely to interact with party MLAs and office bearers, he added saying the Union Minister will leave Bhubaneswar in the evening on the same day.  

The Union Home Minister's expected visit to Sambalpur on December 28 is not in his schedule, the BJP leader said.

In his last visit to the state, Shah attended the all-India conference of Director Generals/Inspector Generals of Police held in Bhubaneswar from November 29 to December 1. However, he did not take part in any party activities during the period.
