Amid Buzz Of BJP-BJD Alliance For 2024 Polls, CM Naveen Convenes Meeting Of Party Leaders

Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: Amid the rising buzz of possible alliance between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) for the forthcoming simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Odisha, BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik convened an important meeting of BJD leaders at his residence, Naveen Niwas here on Wednesday afternoon.
According to sources, Patnaik, in the meeting, is likely to take a key decision on whether his party would tie-up with the saffron party for the ensuing simultaneous Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
On the other hand, senior Odisha BJP leaders will also be meeting the party's Central leaders today in Delhi at around 5PM, sources said.

✨The development came a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Odisha, and laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation multiple development projects worth more than Rs 19,600 crore.
