Ambulance Delay: Woman Delivers On Trolley Midway to Hospital In Paradip
Jagatsinghpur, Jan 8: In a heart-wrenching incident, a pregnant woman laboured on a trolley in the Sandhakuda area in Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district.
According to the information, Salamat Khatun, wife of Sarafat Khan of the Duhuria Jammudhar area of Kendrapada district, developed labour pain this morning, forcing family members to call for an ambulance.
However, the ambulance did not come. Finding no other option, they took her on a trolley. Before they could reach the hospital, she got into labour and gave birth under the shade of a tree.
