Bhubaneswar, Sep 16: In preparation for the upcoming monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly, Speaker Surama Padhy will chair an all-party meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting aims to foster cooperation among all political parties and ensure the smooth functioning of the session, which is scheduled to begin on September 18 and continue until September 25.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mukesh Mahaling, and other cabinet ministers will attend the meeting, alongside key figures from both ruling and opposition parties.

✨The Speaker is expected to engage in dialogue with all party representatives to promote constructive debate and minimize disruptions during the eight-day session. According to the official schedule, the session will include one day for Private Member Bills and another designated as a No Office Day.
With several pressing issues on the table, the opposition is gearing up to corner the government on matters of public concern. Meanwhile, the ruling party is preparing to respond assertively and defend its policies and decisions.
