Bhubaneswar, Sep 16: The all-party meeting convened ahead of the monsoon session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly concluded on a cooperative note, with Speaker Surama Padhy urging all parties to ensure smooth proceedings.
Leaders from major political parties including the BJP, BJD, and Congress participated in the meeting.
Opposition Chief Whip Pramila Mallik stated that while her party will cooperate as per constitutional norms, several pressing issues will be raised during the session. These include the growing crisis faced by farmers, fertilizer shortages, the diminishing powers of Panchayat representatives, and the alarming rise in violence against women.
