Similipal, Jan 28: The Enforcement team of the Similipal Forest Department have arrested two hunters after AI Camera in the area spotted a group of hunters.

As per the report, the Enforcement team found out about the hunters after the AI Camera, located in the entrance of the Similipal South Division, spotted the hunters' group when they entered the area.

The Enforcement team rushed to the spot and managed to arrest two hunters, while three others fled away. The Enforcement Team recovered two country-made guns and explosives from the hunters.

The forest department officials conducted raids at the hunters' residences, recovering a deer horn, a sambar deer horn, two nets, a bow along with three arrows.

The arrested hunters have been identified as Rajkishore Nayak, 29, and Kalicharan Dehury, 23. Rajkishore is a native of Nachipur village under Kaptipada Police Station, while Kalicharan is a resident of Pagadadiha village.

The search operation by the forest department is underway for the other three hunters, who are absconding.
