After days of seclusion and ritual healing, including the traditional administration of Dashamula herbal treatment, the Chaturdha Murti (the four deities) have been declared completely healthy. This auspicious news was ceremoniously announced by the temple servitors, who carried the message from the Shrinara to the Rajanara, marking the divine return of the Lord to public view.

The recovery signifies the end of the Anasara period and sets the stage for the much-awaited Nabajouban Darshan and Rath Yatra festivities.

Nabajouban Besha is a special ceremony at the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri where the deities (Lord Jagannath, Devi Subhadra, and Lord Balabhadra) are adorned with a youthful appearance after recovering from a period of illness. This ceremony takes place before the annual Rath Yatra festival.

It includes rituals like Mangala Alati, Mailam Lagi, Netrotsav Bandapana, and Yatrangi Mahasnana.
