Cuttack, Dec 16: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday said that there is no need of anyone's recognition for the Bali Yatra of Cuttack as Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made special mention of the historic festival in Indonesia's Bali.
The Union Minister said this while addressing at a programme held at the Ravenshaw Girls’ School in Cuttack to mark the occasion of the institution’s 150 years of establishment.
"As Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already praised the Bali Yatra festival of Cuttack in Indonesia's Bali island during the G20 summit last year, there is no need for anyone's recognition for the historic festival of the city," Prdhan said.
Notably, Prime Minister Modi mentioned the Bali Yatra of Cuttack in Odisha in a community programme in Bali in Indonesia during the G20 summit last year.He reiterated Odisha's timeless tradition and cultural connection with Indonesia.
