Mohanty said the leader doesn't understand the sentiments of the people of Odisha.
"One who is using Lord Jagannath's name for his political promotion, his understanding of Odisha's culture and Odia mentality is well reflected by his act,"

✨Stating that Lord Jagannath is our soul, Mohanty expressed anguish that the administrator-tuned leader engaged a beefeater in Shrimandir's work.
"Nobody had anything to say if the leader had taken the beef eater to Similipal sanctuary or any tourist spot of the State. But he has hurt the sentiments of Odia people by taking her to the Srimandir premises," rued Mohanty.
