Aaradi Dham Temple in Odisha Gears up For Makar Sankranti

Bhubaneswar, Jan 15 : The Aaradi Dham temple in Odisha is gearing up for Makar Sankranti, a major Hindu festival celebrated on the day of the winter solstice. The temple, which is dedicated to Baba Akhandlamani, is a popular pilgrimage site for Hindus from all over the state.
In preparation for the festival, the temple administration has made special arrangements for the safety and security of devotees. A dedicated security force has been deployed around the temple, and a special queue has been set up for devotees to enter the temple.
The festival will begin on Monday, January 15, with the installation of new maize rice and Podpitha, a traditional Odia sweet dish. The main festival celebrations will take place on Tuesday, January 16. On that day, devotees will gather at the temple to worship Baba Akhandlamani.
