Puri, June 26: A year's wait, not of Hindus' only but of people of other faiths, is set to end as Mahaprabhu Jagannath, the lord of the universe, along with His siblings--elder brother Lord Balabhadra and younger sister Devi Subhadra and his Ayudh Chakraraj Sudarsan, will come out of the Shreemandir and meet the devotees on the 3-km long Badadanda under the open air, sun and sky tomorrow.

The annual sojourn, called Shree Gundicha Yatra, of the Trinity from Shreemandir to Gundicha Temple happens on Ashadha Shukra Dwitiya every year. Devotees cutting across religions are all eager to satiate their long aspiration of having Darshan of Kalia Saanta (As Lord Jagannath is fondly called) and His Siblings atop magnificent raths tomorrow.

As per the schedule, the chariots- Nandighosh of Lord Jagannath, Taladhwaja of Lord Balabadra, and Darpadalan of Devi Subhadra-- stationed at Rath Khala on the grand road were turned south and brought to the front yard of Singha Dwar.

The newly constructed Raths will be consecrated at 9.30 tomorrow. Pahandi of the deities is scheduled to begin at 9.30 am. First, Chakraraj Sudarshan will be brought and seated on Devi Subhadra's Darpadala chariot. Then Devi Subhadra will be escorted to Her Chariot, followed by Lord Balabhadra and Lord Jagannath to their respective chariots, Taladhwaja and Nandighosh.

Pahandi of the deities, particularly of Lord Balabhadra and Lord Jagannath, makes the devotees divinely emotional. Swinging of Tahiya on the deities' heads is very attractive.

To ensure a smooth Rath Yatra, 205 platoons of police force and eight platoons of Central force will be deployed.

Among many notables, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and three Union Ministers-- Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, and Ashwini Vaishnaw- will witness the grand celebration.
