Mayurbhanj, Feb 10: Three higher secondary school students were critically injured, one of them critically, as an egg-laden truck ran over them at a Dhaba (roadside hotel) in Karanjia in Mayurbhanj district this evening.
The students have been identified as Bikas Dehuri (16) of Ward 11 and Dhyanarnjan Dehuri and Bimal Mohapatra of Ward 9 of Karanjia.
According to the information, the students were cycling to their houses when an egg-laden truck coming from the other side hit them. As a result, they fell and got severe injuries. Of them, Bimal's condition is stated to be critical.

✨Soon, people detained the driver and rushed the injured students to the Sub Divisional Hospital Karanjia by a 108 Ambulance.
On being informed, the Karanjia police reached the spot and seized the truck. The police also took the driver to the police station and interrogated them.
