Cuttack, Dec 3: Six potato-laden trucks, including two from Uttar Pradesh and four from Bengal, have arrived at the Chhatra Bazar in Cuttack Tuesday morning.
An inspection was carried out by a four-member team of the Food Supplies Department, Govt of Odisha at the Chhatra Bazar Tuesday morning.
As per the report, the potatoes on Monday were sold at Rs 38 per kg in the wholesale market and Rs 45 per kg in the retail market. However, the price dropped a bit Tuesday with the wholesale price being Rs 34 per kg and the retail price at Rs 43 per kg.

The inspection team has warned the sellers not to sell potatoes for higher price after customers expressed dissatisfaction with the sellers at Chhatra Bazar for selling potatoes for higher price.
