Angul, Nov 29: An accident in Athamallik-Manikipathar has claimed the life of a man and left another injured this evening. The deceased has been identified as Bamadeba Das and the injured is Akash Menduli. 

According to information, they were travelling to their village Mendulipali from Athamallik in the bike with the registration number OD02BP6517. Due to imbalance they met with the accident. 

Locals rushed them to Athamallik sub-divisional hospital (SDH) where Bamadeba was declared dead by the doctors. Police reached the spot and started investigation.
