90 Students Walk 7 Km To Appear For Math Test In Mayurbhanj

In an awful incident, around 90 Class IV and V students of Bhaliadiha KGBV School under Morada block of Bhaliadiha panchayat walked 7 km to appear for the Mathematics examination.

Mayurbhanj, Dec 13: In an awful incident, around 90 Class IV and V students of Bhaliadiha KGBV School under Morada block of Bhaliadiha panchayat walked 7 km to appear for the Mathematics examination.

According to the information,  the students had to go to Upendra Nath Ghosh High School to take the block-level examination. However, they were not provided a vehicle for the purpose.  

Sources said the students could have gone to the test center by a hired vehicle with the SIG money of the school. As they were denied the facility, they had to walk 7 km on foot.

Meanwhile, parents demanded that higher authorities should look into the matter and take necessary action against the Headmaster.
