Bhubaneswar, Jul 8: Congratulatory messages poured in for senior leader Manmohan Samal following his re-election as the State Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, and other prominent figures hailed Samal’s dedication and organisational acumen.

Taking to X, the CM said: “Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Manmohan Samal on being re-elected as the President of Odisha BJP. His strong leadership, insightful organisational skills, and unwavering dedication to party workers have given BJP a new identity in Odisha. I firmly believe that under his leadership, the organisation will grow even stronger in the days to come and will be a source of inspiration for a prosperous future of Odisha.”

Union Education Minister Pradhan also took to social media and wrote: “Greetings to Manmohan Samal on being elected as BJP Odisha State president. I hope that party organisation will be strengthened further and people’s trust on the BJP will increase in State under his leadership.”

Similarly, Deputy Chief Minister of Odisha, Pravati Parida said, "Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to @SamalManmohan7 on being re-elected as the State President of Bharatiya Janata Party, Odisha. His organisational skills, strong leadership, and inclusive approach towards party workers have given our party a new identity in the state. I firmly believe that under his leadership, the BJP will become even stronger in the coming days and continue to progress in its mission of public service.”

BJP National Vice-President and Member of Parliament Baijayant Panda extended warm congratulations to Samal on his re-election as the President of Odisha BJP.

In his statement, Panda praised Samal’s leadership and emphasised the momentum of development under the “double-engine government” in Odisha. He expressed confidence that under Samal’s stewardship, both the government and the party organisation would move forward in harmony.

“Coordination between governance and organization will strengthen, and there is immense enthusiasm among grassroots workers,” Panda noted, adding that Samal’s leadership would inspire further progress.

State In-Charge of BJP, Vijaypal Singh Tomar, also extended warm congratulations and felicitated the veteran leader for his continued stewardship of the party.

Samal was re-elected unopposed as the State President of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Odisha, marking his fourth term in the position. The announcement was made by the party’s central election observer Sanjay Jaiswal at the BJP state headquarters in Bhubaneswar.
