4 RBTs, 31 Leopards Die In Odisha Forests In 5 Years

Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: As many as four Royal Bengal Tigers (RBTs), 31 leopards and 2,352 other wild animals have died due to different reasons in Odisha during the last five years between 2018-19 and 2022-23.
Forest and Environment Minister Pradeep Amat informed the State Assembly in a written reply to a question from BJP MLA Kusum Tete today.
The wild animals died due to various reasons, including diseases, electrocution, train accidents, poaching, and poisoning.
