Balasore, Nov 4: A gas blast occured in Balasore district in a fast food stall late in the night. It is suspected that a leakage in gas tank led to catching fire. 

The fire brigade reached the spot in no time and tried to control the fire. In an unfortunate incident while the fire officials were extinguishing the fire the gas tank blasted. Consequently, four workers of the fire brigade were injured.

One official is still undergoing treatment in Fakirmohan Medical College, while the other three workers were discharged after preliminary treatment.  

Several chairs, stalls and other belongings got burnt in the fire.
