Bhubaneswar, June 20: The Odisha government celebrated its first anniversary under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi with a vibrant address delivered in Hindi, underscoring the state's strides in development, social equity, and economic empowerment.

Calling it a “moment of pride for Odisha,” the Chief Minister highlighted the government's accomplishments over the past year, including the creation of 17 lakh "Lakhpati Didi" women entrepreneurs and the preparation of a development roadmap after visiting all 30 districts.

Majhi emphasized schemes like the Vikshit Gaon Yojana and Mukhyamantri Kamdhenu Yojana, as well as a financial bonus of ₹800 for farmers. Over 28,000 youths have been given employment opportunities during this period, he noted.

He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance for the state's progress and remarked that the country is now a secure and prosperous global economic power. The celebration marks a significant milestone in the administration’s roadmap toward inclusive and sustainable governance.

The Chief Minister mentioned the future roadmap under the 2026 and 2047 vision, set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for Odisha and the country, respectively. He said as many as 36 comprehensive plans have been chalked out to make Odisha the number-one state under the 2036 vision.

He said Odisha will achieve all its goals under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Majhi hailed PM Modi’s leadership, claiming India has seen continuous progress over 11 years and is now the 4th largest global economy, en route to becoming a $5 trillion economy.
